Sue Plummer - personal statement

I knew nothing about Tanzania when I joined a group of people to visit Morogoro, Berega and Tunguli - names and places I had never heard of. The friendship and the poverty experienced there could not be ignored. On our return I wondered what I personally could do to help. It has amazed me that in five years, with the support of friends, Churches, Schools and just ordinary people, we as a small Registered Charity have provided so much to improve life in Tunguli and assist self sustainability. Our friends in Tanzania greatly appreciate any financial and practical help we give but greatly appreciate our links of friendship.
